FAQ
Why do I have to renew?
Renewals keep CodeKit alive and let me release features when they're ready instead of waiting for big paid-upgrade versions. Your original license included free updates for 13 months.
What if I don't renew?
CodeKit is NOT a subscription. If you don't renew, any version of the app that was released before your license expired will run forever with no limitations. (Until it can no longer launch on future versions of macOS.)
What if my license covers multiple users?
Renewing a multiuser license renews it for all users.
What if my license hasn't expired yet?
You can renew at any point. Your new expiration date will be either your existing expiration date plus the term you choose or today plus that term, whichever is further away.
Is my credit card info safe?
I take security very seriously. Your credit card information is never sent to my server; it goes directly to Stripe.com via an embedded iFrame hosted by Stripe. I NEVER store any credit card details in my database. If you would like the last four digits of your card on the invoice, add them to the "Company Info" field.
What information do you store?
Your name, email address and company information. The price and term you selected. Your billing address, zip code, and IP address. I do NOT store any credit card information in my database.
How do I recover a lost license?
Use this form.
Note:
Thanks to idiot credit card thieves, I had to implement reCAPTCHA. You might have to click some bicycles. Sorry. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
